Una llamada de la historia · nuevo
Early 1526, after writing to the king of Portugal
Mbanza Kongo, capital of the kingdom of Kongo
“You must decide how to respond to the growing slave trade. Portuguese traders are seizing free people, including your own relatives, and selling them as slaves. You have written to the king of Portugal asking for help, but the problem continues. You can try to stop the trade, control it more strictly, or focus on building stronger ties with Portugal for other benefits.”
Should I take stronger action against the traders, try to work more closely with Portugal, or find another way to protect my people?
