Una llamada de la historia · nuevo
The evening of 30 August 1980
Lenin Shipyard, Gdańsk, Poland
“You must decide whether to sign the agreement the government is offering. It promises the right to form free trade unions and other reforms, but many workers do not trust the authorities to keep their word. If you sign, the strike will end, but if you refuse, the government might send in the police or army.”
Should we trust the government and sign the agreement, or keep striking for stronger guarantees?
