Un appel de l’histoire · nouveau
Autumn, 1282, as Llywelyn calls for support
Near Llangollen, Powys Fadog, north-east Wales
“You must decide whether to join Llywelyn ap Gruffudd and the Welsh princes in open rebellion against King Edward I of England, or to submit to Edward’s rule and hope to keep your lands and people safe. Rebellion risks losing everything if Edward wins, but submission may mean losing Welsh independence. What will you advise?”
Should I fight for Welsh independence with Llywelyn, or submit to Edward I to protect my people and lands?
